This comic describes the state of things for about ten months of this past year, but I am no longer in quite the same state of disrepair.
And so no hydrocodone haze can be blamed for the fact that I have a tumblr now! It’s a pretty rudimentary thing at the moment but it does have this comic I drew and sent to The Stranger in response to their cover story of now two weeks ago, in the vain hope that they would publish it. I thought about posting it here but it’s really not part of the diary comics, so I created a place where I can put things that are not “The Secret Life of Helen America”, as well as things that are.
I love these so much. I feel like they express some things that I’ve definitely felt in my own ways, over time, but they happen here all at once and with such emotional impact. <3 Thank you.
