What’s happening in my life right now is that I’m working on this comic. I’m working on this comic at a scale I’ve actually not attempted before. I’m going back and putting the dislocated stories in chronological order, methodically drawing new pages to fill in gaps in continuity and to create a coherent narrative, fixing errors, standardizing sizes and colors, improving image quality, re-lettering the illegible.
I’m MAKING THIS INTO A BOOK.
I’ve always felt that this project made the most sense as a book, and I’m beginning to do the work to make that dream happen. I hope that everyone who reads and loves this comic will bear with me during this process, which will be an intense one.
If I miss updates, forgive me. It’s because I have been swamped with other aspects of realizing this project.
If I post updates that are terrible scribbles like the above, forgive me.
If I post updates that make no sense in the narrative where they are, forgive me – I really do need to draw some comics to fill in gaps in the story, and if I’m going to keep posting updates while working on that long backlog, the updates are going to have to come from it.
I am not giving up on or losing interest in this project – far from it! I’m just strained trying to post new, recent comics and also repair the holes in the old comics at the same time. I am exited to do this and I hope you’ll all stick around to see it happen!
