It’s a useful exercise to try to figure out why we say “I hate everything”, or “I love verything/everyone”. Sometimes “I hate everything” means “I hate myself”, or “I feel totally alone”; sometimes “I love everyone” means that you don’t know where you end and other people begin. Anyway, the statements are valid starting-places for figuring out how we feel and how we’re thinking.
